Amy Poehler found herself in stitches as “Saturday Night Live” star Ashley Padilla recounted the time she was arrested as a teenager. Specifically, during Tuesday’s episode of “Good Hang with Amy Poehler,” the “SNL” performer confessed that she was a “bad girl” back in the day. “Tell me more,” Poehler responded. “What do you mean? How did you get in trouble?” Padilla countered with a one word answer: “Arrested.” This tidbit appeared to take Poehler by surprise, as she declared: “No! Finally, we got to it.” As Padilla dove into the story, she shared that she was booked for “obstruction of justice” and “resisting arrest.” With a laugh, Poehler praised Padilla for being “so cool.” “My mother pulling in as I’m cuffed on the cop car. Cuffed on top of the cop car. She pulls in,” Padilla recalled as Poehler continued to fight back laughter. “Single mother pulls in in her boyfriend’s truck.” She continued: “She gets out and she’s looking at me like [shakes head], talking to the cop and he’s like, ‘So, we found her in the rose bush.’” Per Padilla, her run-in with the police occurred after she took off from a party, which was going on…

Desi Lydic laid into Donald Trump for this week’s White House press ban and threatening U.N. speech, slamming the president as “a messy bitch who lives for the drama.” The comedian addressed the drama during Tuesday’s monologue for “The Daily Show,” where she suggested that the president would rather be a Real Housewife on Bravo than a “wannabe authoritarian.” Specifically, as Lydic’s monologue came to a close, “The Daily Show” highlighted Trump’s tantrum outside the United Nations, where he snapped at CNN’s Kaitlan Collins for covering his New York City trip. “OK, I say this as a woman and with all due respect to women everywhere, but have you ever seen such a bitch?” Lydic ripped. “Such a bitch. This here is what the press ban is about. It’s what all the U.N. threats are about.” She added: “Yes, this man is a wannabe authoritarian, but he’s also a wannabe Real Housewife, picking fights wherever he goes, whenever he can, because he’s a messy bitch who lives for the drama.” As Lydic went on, she said viewers shouldn’t be worried “about what Trump might do when the cameras aren’t on him,” adding, “because this thirsty attention slut would never let…

Niall Horan continues to honor his former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne. During the Tuesday, September 22, opening night of his Dinner Party Live on Tour, Horan, 33, played recorded audio of the late Payne being interviewed. “We thought something might happen but never anything like this,” the audio began right after Horan wrapped his tribute song “End of an Era” in Birmingham, England, per X fan footage. The audio continued, “I always try to remind myself of where I’ve come from and where I’ve managed to get to in my life. It’s amazing, really.” Payne died in October 2024 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was 31 years old. Niall Horan Reveals New Song ‘End of an Era’ Is a Tribute to Liam Payne As the recording played, darkened stage lighting captured Horan looking out above the audience in a moment of reflection. The musician, who released his fourth solo studio album, Dinner Party, in June, held his hands on his hips as he stood solemnly before the stage lights went out altogether. One day after news of Payne’s death made headlines, Horan and his fellow One Direction bandmates issued a group statement. “We’re…

Basic totes will always be a wardrobe staple, but Nicole Kidman highlighted one major reason to consider a classy flap bag instead. It offers the same carry-everything practicality, while keeping wallets, laptops and other essentials more covered and secure. Add in the luxe hardware and structured silhouette, and it’s a practical fall switch that looks considerably more chic, too. On September 9, 2026, Kidman was spotted rolling through Sydney Airport wearing a blue lace top, baseball cap, medium-wash jeans and dark sunglasses. She finished the look with a massive black Chanel flap bag, which costs around $11,000. Thankfully, there’s a similar black flap bag on Amazon that captures the same practical-meets-polished appeal for $26. See it! Get the Lovevook Soft Faux Leather Tote Bag for $26 (was $27) at Amazon! The cast of Dancing With the Stars brought their best moves to the ballroom for night three of season 35 — but for one couple, it still wasn’t enough. The third episode of the season aired on Tuesday, September 22, with both the male and female celebrity contestants dancing to popular social media songs as part of Viral Hits Night. Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy kicked off the night with a performance of Katseye’s “Animal,” which received praise from judges Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough. Tonioli told Dewan that she was a “fast and furious sexy beast” and that she “did not miss a beat.” Later on in the night, Ezra Frech was praised for his cha-cha with pro Daniella Karagach. Inaba told the Paralympian that he demands “us to watch and you demand excellence for yourself,” while Hough said he was “blown away” by the performance. They were given a score of 21, tying for first place with Dewan and Chmerkovskiy. Olympian Amber Glenn and pro partner Pasha Pashkov made the top score a three-way tie when they also earned a 21 points. Tonioli declared it was the “best tango of the night,” and Inaba said…
Ginny & Georgia’s Scott Porter has hit back at critics of his bleached blonde hair. “It was for work … but go ahead and keep being a total d*** on the internet,” he wrote via Instagram on Sunday, September 20, in response to a troll who wrote that his fresh dye job was the result of a “crisis.” The social media user, who later apologized to Porter, 47, for sounding “meaner than I meant it to be,” had originally argued that the actor “feels young again. This is what men do when they get middle-aged. They have a crisis.” Porter, who rose to fame as Jason Street on Friday Night Lights before starring as George Tucker in Hart of Dixie, in turn accepted the apology — but needed to get more off his chest. “I mean … take a peek back at what you wrote? Mid-life crisis? Not sure how folks are supposed to know that’s just a funny? All good tho, sorry about the d*** comment. We square?” he wrote. Whether Sean Gunn will return to the MCU after joining his brother over in the DCU remains to be seen. But if Gunn does go back to Marvel, it won’t be as Rocket Raccoon. “Since I’ve turned 50 a couple of years ago, I am retired from playing Rocket,” Gunn said. “Not that they’ve called. But if they did, I don’t think that I could do the motion reference anymore for Rocket. I think I’m too old.” Gunn appeared on Brandon Davis’ video podcast “Main Character” ahead of the Oct. 2 release of his new film “Appofeniacs.” There, Gunn spoke about his time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where he played two roles in James Gunn’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise. Sean both portrayed the Ravager Kraglin, who takes over for Michael Rooker’s Yondu after his death, and performed the motion capture reference for Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper). But Sean said the years added up when doing the latter of those two roles. “Everyone thinks it’s my knees, but it was really my feet and my ankles because I’m like in a catcher’s crouch, and I’m pivoting a lot on my points of contact on the ground,” he…

Kit Harington shared he was “fully supportive” of HBO’s “Harry Potter” TV adaptation even before he landed the part of Gilderoy Lockhart. During a Monday appearance on the”Happy Sad Confused” podcast, the “Game of Thrones” alum addressed his casting for the fantasy drama’s second season, which is based on J. K. Rowling’s book “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.” Harington, a self-proclaimed fan of the “Harry Potter” book series, shared that he was ready to support the new TV adaptation ahead of joining the already stacked cast. “I listen to the Stephen Fry audio books and I do that because … my brain is incredibly busy, especially at night,” Harington said of his love of the series. “And I’ve always found going to bed very difficult, and my brain doesn’t turn off and when I got sober that got especially bad. And so I started listening to ‘Harry Potter’ audiobooks and now they’re the thing I listen to every night and they just help me.” Harington noted that he was also a fan of the series as a child. “So they have a very special place in my heart,” he said. “And when I knew they were doing this…
Viral Hits Night of “Dancing With the Stars” saw the celebrities a little shakier after just one week of preparation for the night of competition. Before the premiere episode, the stars have several weeks of rehearsals to prepare their dances, but for Week 2 the pressure was on. Several stars stumbled over their steps and faltered compared to their first week routines. The second year of Viral Hits Night saw a routine from each of the 14 stars to a popular hit of their choice, including “Heated Rivalry” breakout “All the Things She Said,” “Girls” from the “Off Campus” soundtrack and “Animal” by Katseye. The couple with the least amount of combined votes and judges’ scores was sent home at the end of the night. Giada De Laurentiis and her partner Alan Bersten were sent home in the Week Two elimination. Hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough revealed halfway through the show that they had already surpassed the amount of votes from both nights last week. With thirty minutes left in the broadcast, they said they had passed 50 million votes. Jenna Dewan opened the show with high energy kicks and flicks with her jive to “Animal” by Katseye. She…
Despite Scott Wolf‘s brief return to Doc, the season 3 premiere officially wrote off his character, Richard. During the Tuesday, September 22, episode of the hit Fox series, Ben (Blair Underwood) asked Amy (Molly Parker) about Richard’s whereabouts, to which she replied, “He needed a fresh start. He is just over at Eastside.” Viewers were originally introduced to Richard in season 1. His journey on screen wasn’t easy — with Amy later realizing that her colleague was at fault for a patient’s death. She was about to reveal his mistake to her superiors before she suffered a serious crash that wiped her memory of the last eight years. Richard ultimately confessed in the finale, which ended his career at the hospital. Shocking TV Exits Through the Years “He will be back. He will come back in a very surprising way,” executive producer Hank Steinberg shared with Us in September 2025. “And then he will be able to come in with a very different energy than last year, which should be fun.” Fox confirmed that same month that Wolf, 58, would reprise his role for a multi-episode guest arc. Wolf, for his part, previously spoke to Us about how Richard’s secret…

Months after ICE agents shot and killed 37-year-old Renée Good, the victim’s mother, Donna Ganger, revealed that she voted for Donald Trump before condemning the president’s immigration enforcement. “I’m a registered Republican. I voted for President Trump under the impression that these agents were here to protect the citizens of the United States, innocents like our family and the others here, against terrorists,” Ganger said, speaking at a forum on ICE-related shootings held by Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Representative Robert Garcia (D-CA). “Certainly not to accuse those of us here of being terrorists and take precious lives. This is madness.” The Jan. 7 killing of Good in Minneapolis was a tipping point moment in the U.S. debate over ICE and the Trump administration’s immigration policies, sparking protests and debate across Minnesota and the nation as a whole. This was quickly followed by the killing of Alex Pretti, who was also shot by ICE agents, weeks later on Jan. 24. “As a parent, it is our instinct and our honor to protect our children. Fast forward to today, and it’s torture that as a mom, and as a family, we could not protect Renée,” Ganger said. “But no one can…
