Grey’s Anatomy’s newest spinoff will be an “edgy drama” set in Texas, co-creators Shonda Rhimes and Meg Marinis confirmed. Ellen Pompeo is also executive producing the new show, which will premiere in midseason 2027. This is the fourth series in the franchise and the first that is not set on the West Coast or in a big city.
