Shaquille O’Neal has been boxed out of one of his dreams. Though the NBA legend has scratched his acting itch in numerous comedy films, including four Adam Sandler movies, he admitted that he wants to do more onscreen—but there’s just one problem. “I would love to do more action roles but we were told by top Hollywood executives that I’m too big,” Shaq told Variety in an interview published Aug. 21, “and what they mean by that is when I pop up on the screen everyone will go, ‘Oh, that’s Shaq!’” The 54-year-old added, “So, if I’m trying to play a doctor or anything, my character won’t be believable.” But that didn’t stop the basketball Hall of Famer from shooting his shot.
