Ben Affleck still wants to direct ex-wife Jennifer Garner, after she passed on starring in his latest directorial project, ‘Animals,’ fearing it would carry too much ‘baggage’ for viewers, given their public history. Speaking at the film’s LA premiere, Ben tells ET’s Kevin Frazier, ‘It would have been great if I were to direct’ and ‘I would really love to direct Jen in a movie.’ Kerry Washington ultimately took on the role. ‘Animals’ in in select theaters on and streams on Netflix on Oct. 9.
