League One Volleyball, known as LOVB, is quickly becoming one of the most exciting new women’s sports leagues to watch. The professional volleyball league officially launched its second season on Jan. 7. LOVB currently features six teams based in Atlanta, Austin, Houston, Madison, Nebraska and Salt Lake City, with expansion already planned for Los Angeles, San Francisco and Minnesota in 2027. The league’s roster has 19 Olympians competing across teams including, gold medalist Xiangyu Gong, who competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics, as well as Olympians Ana Carolina da Silva and Anne Buijs. LOVB has celebrity investors including Chelsea Handler, Lindsey Vonn, Amy Schumer, Kevin Durant, Candace Parker and Alexis Ohanian.
