Val Chmerkovskiy feels humbled by the love for him to dance with either Ciara Miller or Maura Higgins, however it’s not up to him! After the Summer House star revealed that the Dancing With the Stars pro is her dream partner for season 35, Val responded with nothing but appreciation. Speaking to E! News exclusively at the 33rd Annual Race to Erase MS Gala on June 5, the ballroom champion said he was “humbled” by Ciara’s public campaign and called her shoutout a huge compliment, though he noted he has no say in casting decisions. Val’s wife and fellow DWTS pro Jenna Johnson also weighed in, admitting she’d love to be paired with Ciara—or fellow contestant Maura Higgins. Ciara first revealed her hopes of dancing with Val shortly after joining the upcoming season, "I’ve been campaigning for Val," Ciara told Erin Lim Rhodes during the Live From E! Stream: Met Gala at The Pierre Hotel May 4.
