Alec Baldwin let cameras follow the aftershocks of the ‘Rust’ tragedy, the 2021 accidental, on-set killing of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins by the actor. New Mexico authorities indicted Baldwin for involuntary manslaughter in 2024; a judge ultimately dismissed the case with prejudice that summer, due to withheld evidence by the prosecution. ‘The Trial of Alec Baldwin’ is set to hit theaters on Oct. 1.
