Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest sit down with ET in London to reflect on their return to the ‘Practical Magic’ universe with an all-new sequel, 28 years after the OG film first hit theaters. The duo, who play Aunts Fran and Jet, respectively, in the franchise, reveal they actually found out the long-awaited sequel was in the works alongside the rest of the world, before getting the official call to reunite with their on-screen nieces, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. The duo also opens up about their decades-long journeys in Hollywood, with Stockard agreeing with fans of ‘Grease’: Rizzo’s opening sequence caricature is bad! ‘Practical Magic 2’ is set to cast a spell on audiences when it flies into theaters on Sept. 11.
