The LA District Attorney charged Nick Reiner with two counts of first-degree murder in relation to the deaths of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner. Nick could face the death penalty or life in prison without the possibility of parole due of the nature of his crimes. Legal expert Tre Lovell notes, ‘When you’re charged with first-degree murder, if it’s accompanied by a multiple murder, things like that will upgrade the first-degree murder to a much stiffer sentence.’
