Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts has signed with 3 Arts Sports and Sanders Sports & Entertainment for personal representation. Under the new representation structure, the firms will spearhead the four-time World Series champion’s personal endorsements, brand partnerships and business development. The partnership comes as the eight-time MLB All-Star and entrepreneur hopes to expand his business footprint off the field, with both 3 Arts Sports and SSE focused on his personal branding and business endeavors. It marks a shift in Betts’ career as he focuses on long-term creative ownership and global brand expansion. “Mookie Betts is a generational talent on the field and an incredibly forward-thinking entrepreneur off it. We are thrilled to collaborate across sports and entertainment to build a comprehensive strategy for one of baseball’s most enduring icons,” 3 Arts Entertainment co-CEO Brian Weinstein and SSE founder and president Doug Sanders said in a joint statement. “This partnership aligns with Mookie’s ambitious vision by tapping into our respective teams’ expertise and industry relationships.” Betts joins the 3 Arts Sports roster alongside sports stars that have shaken up the pop culture scene, including Travis Kelce, the WNBA’s Sophie Cunningham and NFL star Jayden Daniels. “I’ve always believed in surrounding myself with…
Senator Mitch McConnell is back at work, but that doesn’t mean Chelsea Handler thinks he’s actually alive. In fact, the comedian is pretty sure it’s a real-life “Weekend at Bernie’s” situation. Handler stopped by “The View” on Thursday, and the ABC hosts promptly got her opinion on some of the more political Hot Topics they’ve covered lately. First among them was McConnell’s return to work on Capitol Hill, after being absent for three months, in the hospital with health problems. “Was that a return? That’s a return to Saturn, is what that was,” Handler joked. “I mean, honestly. I can’t believe — this is obviously like ‘Weekend at Bernie’s.’ We’re dealing with a person who’s unconscious or possibly not even alive. You know, I mean the way they’re propping him up — and when his hand went up, I was like, ‘Who’s holding his hand up?!’” Speaking a bit more seriously on the subject (but only just), Handler called it “just ridiculous.” “When they look back at this time in history, how are we going to explain ourselves?” she wondered. “But luckily with AI, maybe none of us will have to!” Handler isn’t the only one at “The View” that’s…

From Beyoncé announcing her pregnancy to Lady Gaga’s iconic meat dress and Madonna leaving us speechless time and time again, here’s some of the most memorable moments from the VMAs ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards 2026. In 2003, Britney Spears, Madonna and Christina Aguilera joined together for a rendition of "Like a Virgin" and "Hollywood," sealed with a headline-making kiss between the women. Fast forward to 2015, Nicki Minaj confronted Miley Cyrus, who was hosting, over negative comments she had made about the rapper in a New York Times interview. She called the pop star a “b*tch” and asked her, "What’s good?" Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, vehemently defended her son against criticism of his exorbitant wealth.
After being dropped from Ed Sheeran‘s tour earlier this month, Macklemore has set his own, three-show “Free Palestine” tour for the end of October. The Grammy-winning rapper announced the tour Thursday morning on Instagram. It will consist initially of three shows: one in Dublin (Oct. 26), another in Paris (Oct. 29) and a final date in London (Oct. 30). Additionally, Macklemore revealed that all proceeds generated by the tour will go to benefitting “organizations supporting the Palestinian people and movement.” “If these last couple of weeks have shown us anything, it’s that something has shifted over the last three years,” the rapper wrote on Instagram. “There has been a collective awakening around Palestinian liberation, the power of billionaires that try to censor that call, and what we expect from artists right now.” “Being apolitical during a genocide doesn’t work anymore,” his post continued. “People are asking artists to show up, educate themselves and be in community. To use the stage for more than entertainment. To push back when the call for a Free Palestine is met with attempts to silence it.” “What happened to me is bigger than one artist or one stage. When the billionaire class can decide which…

If you’ve heard anything about “The Love Hypothesis” in recent weeks, you might have also heard something about “Star Wars.” That may seem odd, considering the two are very different movies, but there is actually a real connection there. “The Love Hypothesis” stars Lili Reinhart as Olive, a Ph.D. student working to cure pancreatic cancer. When she arrives at Stanford, she quickly becomes best friends with Anh (Rachel Marsh). As the years go by, Olive develops feelings for Jeremy (Nicholas Duvernay), but he has feelings for Anh. So, in an effort to encourage her best friend to pursue what is clearly a mutual attraction, Olive makes up a boyfriend. He’s a very real man, though, to be clear. His name is Adam Carlsen, but the students refer to him as Dr. Evil, for how tough a professor her is. Adam agrees to start fake dating Olive, and naturally, the two quickly fall in love for real. So where’s the “Star Wars” connection? Well, “The Love Hypothesis” is an adaptation of Ali Hazelwood’s book of the same name. But that book was originally published online in 2018, as a “Star Wars” fanfiction called “Head Over Feet.” The story then followed Kylo…
Van Toffler, the producer responsible in part for Madonna’s iconic 2003 three-way kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards, wants more mayhem as he brings the awards show back to Los Angeles. The VMAs have not been hosted in the city of Angels since 2017, but the show promises splashy moments with its return. On the heels of her 13 nominations for “Confessions II,” Madonna will perform for the first time at the awards show in 23 years. The “Like a Virgin” singer has created many a moment at the awards show, including her breakthrough 1984 performance in a wedding dress and her 1990 “Vogue” lipsync. This year she will open the show with some “very special guests,” Toffler teased. “It’s kind of amazing that Madonna is still relevant and received these accolades and nominations so many years after that memorable 1984 performance she did,” the producer told TheWrap. “It was kind of undeniable to try to have her back on the show somehow and opening it. She never gives a performance that people don’t talk about.” Toffler’s production and distribution company Gunpowder & Sky, which he co-founded in 2016, signed a multi-picture and multi-year production partnership with Paramount Global…
