All My Children alum Alan Dysert died Oct. 23 at age 75, nearly three years after he shared he had been diagnosed with a rare incurable cancer in his autobiography Lights, Camera, Cancer! Dysert played Sean Cudahy in 79 episodes of the beloved soap opera from 1980 to 1990, though his wife Michelle Dysert said thousands also knew him as an acting teacher and mentor who encouraged others to pursue their dreams. In a heartfelt tribute, Michelle remembered her husband as a “life changer” with a gift for storytelling and asked loved ones to celebrate the joy he brought into the world; he is survived by Michelle and sons Cody and Cooper.
