Nicole Taylor—who formed the band Taylor Red with her identical twin sisters Nika Taylor and Natalie Taylor—has died at age 35.“We are shocked and heartbroken to announce the passing of our sister Nicole Taylor. This isn’t the video we thought we’d ever be making,” Natalie said beside Nika in a video shared to YouTube Nov. 2. "We’re still processing everything. This honestly feels really hard to talk about, but we’re going to do our best in sharing some of her story.” Though the sisters formed Taylor Red—formerly known as Red Roots—in 2011, they gained popularity in 2021 after their song “Country Money” went viral on social media. But Natalie and Nika shared that one year later, Nicole had been diagnosed with "very aggressive" stage three breast cancer.
