LL Cool J is coming home to New York as ‘NCIS: New York’ brings the hit franchise to his hometown for the first time. ET goes exclusively on set in Brooklyn, where LL reunites with his ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ character Sam Hanna alongside Scott Caan’s Special Agent Nick Schaefer and Jennifer Beals’ team leader. LL and Caan open up about their on-screen partnership, which dates back to their 2011 collaboration on ‘Hawaii Five-0,’ while the cast teases the show’s grittier take on New York City and a potential crossover with Caan’s ‘Five-0′ character. ET also gets a first look inside the new series’ high-tech headquarters with Devin Druid who reveals Brian Dietzen will reprise his role as Jimmy Palmer. ‘NCIS: New York’ premieres Oct. 6 on CBS.
