The 33-year-old told the crowd she keeps a Dolly mannequin—a Christmas gift from her godmother—in her bedroom and once played a video of Parton performing “Jolene” before lighting a candle and placing a flower beside it. Cyrus said she silently asked Parton to flicker the lights if she was there, and the entire hallway began flickering. Her fiancé, Maxx Morando, saw the lights, too, though Cyrus said he did not know what she had asked.
