Three jurors in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial are sharing what really happened during deliberations. The jurors—identified as Roni Carlson, a fifth grade special needs teacher; Kellie Farina, a chef; and Paula Devlin, who worked for government contractors—spoke out for the first time since a judge declared a mistrial on Sept. 4, slamming one unnamed male juror who held out on an otherwise unanimous verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity. “He was very arrogant… He really did not take anything that anybody said,” Devlin told NBC10 Boston in an interview published Sept. 8. Carlson also alleged that the male juror in question admitted that he had reasonable doubt regarding Clancy’s culpability, but that he still refused to vote to acquit.
