New details are emerging from the deliberations during Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial. After the judge declared a mistrial on Sept. 4, juror Nick Dargie shared his experience inside the jury room, calling out the one unnamed male juror who prevented a unanimous verdict following seven days of deliberations. “It was definitely frustrating,” Dargie told ABC News about the juror in an interview that aired on Good Morning America Sept. 10. “Mainly frustrating when he explicitly said, ‘You know, I don’t know if the prosecution or the defense proved their case.’” Dargie, who was serving in the military abroad when he was called to serve on the jury, also alleged that the juror in question picked up the exercise band that Lindsay used to strangle her children—a move that drew Dargie’s ire.
