While the Gilmore Girls documentary is still in the works at HBO Max, star Lauren Graham—who lent her quick-talking and wry wit to that of Lorelai Gilmore alongside Alexis Bledel’s Rory Gilmore in the Amy Sherman Palladino series—shared a sneak peek at what fans can expect upon their return to Stars Hollow. “We’re still in the middle of it, but I have filmed a little bit, and it was pretty emotional,” she told E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes at Variety’s Power of Women event Sept. 23. “And new information for me. Like, these are questions I had never asked Amy, conversations we had never had.” In fact, there was more to unearth than Graham even thought possible. “My fear was, ‘Gosh, we’ve had all these years of being interviewed. Is there anything new to say?’” she admitted. “And actually being placed in that environment kind of makes for a different dynamic.
