Kris Jenner has announced that her mother, Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon, has died at the age of 91. In an Instagram post shared July 16, the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star memorialized her mom and praised her for giving her the “greatest childhood.” Kris also proclaimed that she would forever see pieces of MJ in her own kids—Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. MJ was regularly featured on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ as well as the Hulu series ‘The Kardashians’—and during a 2025 episode, the issue of MJ’s health was brought up.
