Josh Hartnett detailed the "terrible" illness that he struggled through while filming Verity alongside Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson. "It was food poisoning, but it was a terrible food poisoning," Hartnett said on the Oct. 1 episode of SiriusXM’s Front Row podcast. "What it was is that I couldn’t walk because my muscles had all seized up." He continued, "It was really only about 10 days that I couldn’t walk, honestly.” Meanwhile, director Michael Showalter revealed what days on set were like for Hartnett. "For most of the movie, when Josh isn’t on camera, he’s lying down being tended to," he explained. "Josh was battling some very, very, very serious thing."
