Val Chmerkovskiy apologizes to Carrie Ann Inaba in a lengthy post shared on his Instagram, after the pro dancer posted and later deleted a reference to Will Smith’s infamous 2022 Oscars slap. Val alluded to the notorious moment after the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ judge criticized his wife Jenna Johnson’s routine during Super Bowl week for including a lift. Val writes he personally apologized to Carrie Ann and felt responsible to also say sorry to the public because his words have weight, and he feels a responsibility to think before he posts.
