Wizards of Waverly Place alum David Henrie admitted he got "nothing really" in terms of residuals while discussing his paychecks for the hit Disney series, which aired 2007 to 2012. "Not really, no," Henrie confessed during the Oct. 26 episode of the Good Guys podcast. "Disney was very, I think it was after at that time they hadn’t combined, so there really wasn’t much residuals. Maybe a little bit here and there, but nothing really." But while Wizards wasn’t exactly the money-maker fans might have expected, his other TV gigs—which included NCIS, Without a Trace and a recurring role on How I Met Your Mother as Ted Mosby’s future son—were much more spellbinding on his bank accounts. "The network stuff that I did, like How I Met Your Mother, was a completely different thing," Henrie—now a father of four with wife Maria Cahill—shared. "Network TV took really good care of their people, but I don’t know what it was about kids television."
