Britney Spears’ rep denied allegations that she was behaving erratically—including barking aloud and wielding a knife near others—while dining at a Los Angeles restaurant. "This is completely blown out of proportion," Spears’ spokesperson told E! News in a May 14 statement. "Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard." The rep went on to explain that Britney—mom to sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19—was "simply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors" and denied the allegation the 44-year-old was walking around the restaurant with a knife in hand. "At no point did she put anyone in danger with a knife," her spokesperson continued. "She was cutting her hamburger in half." The rep added, "This constant attack on everything that she does and this is exactly what happened 20 years ago when the media tried to depict Britney as a bad person.
