King Charles has been diagnosed with cancer. Buckingham Palace confirmed the news on Feb. 5, just days after the monarch, 75, was released from the hospital following a three-night stay for prostate surgery. Now, Access Hollywood is talking to DailyMail.com’s Charlie Lankston about the diagnosis and why the royal family is keeping the type of cancer a secret. Lankston also told Access it is believed that the King personally told his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, about his diagnosis. “We do understand that Charles made the decision to break the news of his diagnosis to William and Harry personally,” she said. Lankston also weighed in on Kate Middleton’s recent hospital stay and how her and King Charles’ recent health scares have impacted the royal family.
