Carl Weathers has died. He was 76. The ‘Rocky’ star’s family confirmed the news to ET. In a statement, they reveal Weathers died in his sleep on Thursday. While known to many as Apollo Creed, Rocky Balboa’s foe turned friend across the hit franchise, Weathers became a pop culture fixture after ‘Predator,’ plus his comedic turns in ‘Happy Gilmore’ and ‘Arrested Development.’ On ‘The Mandalorian,’ Weathers pulled double duty while playing Greef Karga and stepping behind the camera as a director.
