Travis Kelce weighed in on if Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes will return for the NFL season opener after his season ending injury in December. “That man is working his ass off, I know that,” the tight end shared on the May 20 episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce. While he has yet to speak out about his recovery journey since tearing his ACL, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid did share his thoughts on if Patrick will return for the season opener. He said during an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show May 15, “I would tell you he’s doing very well, but it’s a day-to-day thing.
