Simon Cowell sings the praises of a contestant on ‘America’s Got Talent.’ During the season 18 auditions, a songstress named Lavender Darcangelo, who is blind and autistic, took the stage. The Massachusetts native performed a rendition of Irene Cara’s ‘Out Here on My Own,’ which earned her a standing ovation from the audience and Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer. Simon called her performance ‘magical’ and ‘sensational.’ ‘America’s Got Talent’ airs Tuesdays on NBC.
