Paul Mescal and director Ridley Scott chat with ET’s Nischelle Turner about their upcoming film, ‘Gladiator II,’ which hits theaters on Nov. 22. The sequel to 2000’s ‘Gladiator’ takes place years after the first film ends, with Lucius, played by Paul, all grown up. Paul talks about preparing for this role and how he hopes to have the success Russell Crowe did after ‘Gladiator.’ He also talks about the gladiator costumes and how he wanted the skirts to be shorter. Ridley shares that he discovered Paul after binging his series, ‘Normal People,’ and why he was the perfect actor to follow in Russell’s footsteps.
