Valerie Perrine, who starred alongside Christopher Reeve in ‘Superman,’ is dead after a years-long Parkinson’s battle. She was 82. Valerie earned an Academy Award nomination for her performance in ‘Lenny’ with Dustin Hoffman in 1974. Throughout her career, she shared the screen with heavyweights like Jack Nicholson, Robert Redford, Elizabeth Taylor and more. She disappeared to Europe for nearly a decade after the disco musical, ‘Can’t Stop the Music,’ with Village People and Caitlyn Jenner flopped and nearly ruined her career. ET was on set as Valerie embarked on her Hollywood comeback in ‘What Women Want,’ starring Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt. Despite romantic connections to everyone from Jeff Bridges, Mick Jagger, Elliott Gould and Dodi Fayed (before his fling with Princess Diana), Valerie never married and never had children.
