Tupac Shakur’s murder investigation continues over 25 years later. A search warrant was served on Monday in connection to the rapper’s death in 1996, the Las Vegas Metro Police confirmed to ET. Shakur was shot multiple times in Las Vegas while leaving a boxing match. Less than a week later, the 25-year-old died from his wounds on Sept. 13, 1996.
