Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were called out in a lawsuit by a sneaker company over their similar business names. The Kansas City Chiefs players, as well as their business partner Noble 33, were named in a lawsuit by 1587 Sneakers for trademark infringement over the moniker of the athletes’ shared steakhouse restaurant, 1587 Prime. In the lawsuit, the shoe business—which appeared on ‘Shark Tank’ in 2024—alleges that the NFL stars’ restaurant name infringes on their brand’s name, according to ESPN. Travis and Patrick opened 1587 Prime in September, using their combined professional jersey numbers as inspiration for the name. While Patrick sports “15” on his football uniform, Travis dons “87.” Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/news/1428818/patrick-mahomes-travis-kelce-sued-over-restaurant-name
