Influencer Brooklyn McKnight is taking a stand. McKnight, 26, shut down people criticizing women for nursing in public spaces via Instagram on Wednesday, September 23. “Saw something recently that talked about how women shouldn’t breastfeed in public, and I personally couldn’t disagree more,” she captioned photos of herself feeding her 21-month-old baby, Archer “Archie,” while out and about. She continued, “Feed your babies wherever and however you want!!” McKnight went on to say that breast-feeding is “the most natural thing,” and that she’s “never felt more feminine than when [she’s] nursing.” “Anyway, here are some photos of me BF in public places just to give the middle finger to that side of the internet🫡,” she concluded. Courtesy of Brooklyn McKnight/Instagram Her followers were quick to share their mixed opinions in the comments section. “God forbid we use our breasts for their intended purposes. 🙄,” one commented. Another added, “If men can walk around shirtless, women can too. Also most important thing is that baby is fed… I’m not going to starve my baby just so I can find a private place to feed her. 🤦♀️.” While some couldn’t have agreed more, others preferred more of a “modest” approach. “I do…

If your fall wishlist is already getting dangerously long, Amazon’s latest sale could make it a lot less expensive. I found major pre-fall markdowns on everything from jeans and lightweight layers to shoes, bags and accessories, including several pieces that work just as well now as they will once temperatures drop. Some of the best deals even come from brands you probably weren’t expecting to find on Amazon. Think Madewell tops slashed by 30%, Levi’s for $48 and a Free People tank for $34, plus a pair of Katie Holmes-approved flats for $85 off. There are plenty of less spendy gems mixed in, too. Prices start at just $15, and nothing on this list costs more than $83! 17 Best Under-$100 Fashion Finds From Amazon’s Pre-Fall Sale 1. Our Favorite: If there’s one piece I’d snag early for fall, it’s this oversized cardigan with its cozy knit, relaxed fit and rich-looking gold buttons. Toss it over a tank now, then layer it with jeans and boots once temperatures drop — was $30, now $13! 2. Transition Staple: Short sleeves make this cute knit cardigan breezy enough to wear now without sacrificing the cozy look I’m already craving for fall. Its…

A specific chill hits around late September when your summer wardrobe suddenly feels wrong and your winter coats feel premature. The fix has always been the same: a good cardigan that pulls a look together without trying too hard. Nantucket style has quietly cornered the market on this in-between dressing, all soft neutrals, roomy shapes and cashmere that looks lived-in by design. Think of the polished, off-duty rich mom uniform: crisp white tee, straight-leg jeans, loafers and a cardigan doing most of the heavy lifting. These 17 picks range from chunky shawl collars to fine-knit button-fronts, and each one delivers that effortless layered look without the fuss. Prices start at $10! 17 Fall Cardigan Styles That Channel Quiet Coastal Luxury 1. Our Favorite: Layering over a silk cami usually means fussing with a jacket that fights the neckline. This open-front cardigan solves it by falling straight and clean, no closure required. 2. Runner-up: Weekend mornings, dog walks, the drive to grab pastries — this cozy hooded cardigan handles all of it. The pockets are deep enough for a phone and keys. 3. Editor’s Pick: Office HVAC that swings from arctic to sauna is why this lightweight button-down earns its keep.…
Apple TV may have usurped Netflix at the 2026 Emmys with Widow’s Bay‘s record-setting triumph, but the world’s most popular streamer still attracts millions of eyeballs with returning shows like The Gentlemen with Theo James and Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story. Netflix just added some new shows that will make you grateful you’re still subscribed to the streamer. You probably haven’t heard of The Doll, but Watch With Us recommends it if you enjoy lavish production values and a story you’ll want to consume as quickly as possible. We also recommend streaming Party Down, the cult comedy starring Adam Scott, Jane Lynch, Ken Marino and just about every funny comedian working in L.A. right now.

‘Captain Marvel’ directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck are set to write and direct the film from Laika.
One of Laika’s first forays into live-action found a distributor. In a competitive situation, Black Bear acquired worldwide rights to the studio’s adaptation of the space thriller “Atmosphere,” the company announced Thursday. The film, based on the Taylor Jenkins Reid novel of the same name, will be helmed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the directing duo behind such features as “Captain Marvel” and “Mississippi Grind.” Black Bear will also co-finance the film with Laika. “’Atmosphere’ is exactly the kind of bold, ambitious event film Black Bear is passionate about bringing to audiences – an emotionally resonant theatrical experience from visionary filmmakers, anchored by unforgettable characters and breathtaking scale,” Black Bear’s Katie Anderson said. “Taylor Jenkins Reid is one of the defining storytellers of her generation, and ‘Atmosphere’ is her most cinematic work yet. Boden & Fleck are among the rare filmmakers capable of delivering blockbuster spectacle without sacrificing emotional intimacy, making them the perfect creative partners to bring this extraordinary story to life. We’re thrilled to partner with them, Circle, and the Laika team to deliver an unforgettable theatrical experience for audiences worldwide.” “Atmosphere” is a 2025 New York Times #1 bestseller set amid NASA’s Space Shuttle program in…

The trial for a Maryland woman charged with murder in the 2014 disappearance of her two young children has been delayed until next year. Catherine Hoggle’s trial is now scheduled to begin on October 4, 2027, after it was initially set to start next month, a judge ruled on Wednesday, September 23, per NBC4 Washington. According to her defense team, Hoggle, 39, — who is accused of killing her daughter, Sarah Hoggle, 3, and son, Jacob Hoggle, 2 — reportedly intends to plead “not criminally responsible” to two counts of murder. Her defense said Hoggle will pursue the plea “because of a mental disorder” and that she was unable to “appreciate the criminality of the alleged conduct” or “conform to the law,” according to the TV station. Did Lindsay Clancy Confess to Killing Her Kids? Details on Her Not Guilty Plea Hoggle was the last person seen with Sarah and Jacob in September 2014, according to the Montgomery County Police Department. They were reported missing that month, and have never been found to date. In August 2025, she was indicted on two counts of murder in relation to their disappearance, police said in a news release last year. The indictment…

“Off Campus” star Belmont Cameli will play Brom Bones, the famed antagonist of Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” in Sony Pictures’ “Hollow,” a reimagining of the tale starring Sydney Sweeney as Katrina Van Tassel. The film will be written and directed by Lindsey Anderson Beer and based off of her forthcoming debut novel, which will be released in fall 2027. “Hollow” will reimagine the famous tale of the Headless Horseman as a mystery and a supernatural erotic thriller told from the perspective of Katrina, who in the original tale was the object of affection between the superstitious schoolmaster Ichabod Crane and his rival, Brom Bones. Sony is still casting for the role of Ichabod for “Hollow,” which will be produced by Sweeney’s newly launched company Honey Trap through a first-look deal with Sony. Beer will also produce through her Lab Brew banner alongside LuckyChap. Cameli most recently had his breakout role on the Prime Video series “Off Campus” and was recently seen in Sony’s “Until Dawn” and Warner Bros.’ “Alto Knights.” He is repped by Gersh, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Viewpoint and Hansen Jacobson. Sweeney is coming off of a box office hit last winter with Lionsgate’s “The Housemaid”…
