The hosts of MS NOW’s “Morning Joe” skewered President Trump on Wednesday over his latest debunked claims about his whereabouts during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York City, labeling his behavior “as low as it gets.” During a Tuesday speech, Trump said that he went to Lower Manhattan in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks and that two firefighters physically carried him to safety when they thought a nearby building was going to collapse. As “Morning Joe” co-host Willie Geist noted on Wednesday, Trump was infamously in Midtown Manhattan during the Sept. 11 attacks and called into a local radio station at the time. “He called into Channel 9 WWOR, was talking through it for 45 minutes and said, ‘Well, now my building, 40 Wall Street, is the tallest in Lower Manhattan,’” Geist recapped. “That was his immediate reaction to the story.” Co-host Mika Brzezinski, meanwhile, told “Morning Joe” viewers that “there is no evidence supporting the account” that Trump was carried away from a building by two firefighters on Sept. 11. “I can’t imagine making up stuff about it. That is as low as it gets,” Brzezinski later commented. “That’s needy.” You can watch the full…

Lindsay Clancy’s civil lawyer slammed her medical providers just four days after her murder trial ended in a mistrial. On Friday, September 4, Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial when the jury was unable to come to a unanimous verdict after Clancy, 36, was charged with killing her kids — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months — in January 2023. Clancy claimed in the lawsuit that she repeatedly sought out medical treatment, called crisis hotlines, went to psychiatric facilities for treatment and told providers that her medications were making her symptoms worse in the months before the killings. She is suing several medical professionals that treated her, including a handful that testified in her criminal case. Following her recent criminal trial, Rosemary Curran Scapicchio – who is representing Clancy in her medical malpractice lawsuit – said that medical records and testimony presented in the case prove her claims against the medical providers. Lindsay Clancy’s Supporters Have Sent Her Enough Letters to Fill 3 Boxes “We are confident based on the medical records and further supported by testimony at the criminal trial, that we will hold the doctors, hospitals and medical providers responsible for failing Lindsay,” Scapicchio said in…

Meghan Markle’s potential The Gentlemen casting is still unknown to the show’s stars. “I, unfortunately, have no decision-making abilities,” Kaya Scodelario, who plays Susie Glass, said on the Wednesday, September 9, broadcast of Today when asked about the rumors of Meghan’s appearance. “I wish I did because I would love to cast the show myself; I’d put all my friends in it.” Us learned in August that Meghan, 45, was in early talks to appear in The Gentlemen season 3, which Netflix recently renewed. (It is not known whether the Suits alum, who retired from acting upon her 2018 royal wedding to Prince Harry, will officially appear on the show.) Scodelario, 34, further stressed that she has no idea whether the rumors about Meghan’s cameo are the real deal — but she would be on board if they are. ‘The Gentlemen’ Renewed for Season 3 Amid Meghan Markle Casting Rumors “I don’t know. I think what’s wonderful about our show is that we have these characters pop up and we get these great guest actors come in, sprinkle a little bit of their magic into the characters and make really memorable scenes out of them,” Scodelario gushed on Wednesday. “It’s…

New York Times CEO Meredith Kopit Levien delivered a blunt message Wednesday to artificial intelligence companies using the newspaper’s journalism: “They have to pay us.” “If a company — if a model maker — is using our work to develop their generative AI tools, they need a commercial agreement with us,” Kopit Levien said during a panel at the Status Summit event in New York. “We’re not letting anybody off. And as you’ve seen, we’re prepared to enforce our rights where necessary.” Kopit Levien said any agreement would require the Times’ permission and give the publisher control over how its journalism is used, while providing compensation it considers fair and sustainable. Her comments came after Status founder Oliver Darcy pressed her about Google’s AI search practices and whether the Times had discussed the issue with the technology giant. Kopit Levien declined to discuss any company the Times has not addressed publicly or say whether the publisher might take action against Google. Instead, she emphasized that the Times’ conditions apply broadly to model makers using its journalism to develop generative AI tools. The Times has taken a two-pronged approach to AI, pursuing copyright litigation against OpenAI, Microsoft and Perplexity while remaining…

The Challenge alum Chris “CT” Tamburello’s divorce from Catalina White is still ongoing. CT, 46, and Catalina, 40, got married in 2024. She filed for divorce in January but eventually asked to dismiss her motion. CT later filed his own petition in June, claiming the pair’s marriage “is irretrievably broken.” In his filing, obtained by Us, CT asked the court to equitably divide the couple’s joint assets. “The parties have accumulated certain property consisting of assets and liabilities during the course of their marriage,” the docs read. “There is justification for the court to equitably divide these assets between the parties, so as to achieve an equitable distribution of the assets and liabilities.” CT further asked to be awarded all of his “premarital and nonmarital assets” that he accrued prior to his marriage to Catalina. Inside ‘Challenge’ Star CT Tamburello and OnlyFans Model’s Divorce Months later, Catalina filed a motion to transfer venue from Miami-Dade County, Florida, to another county, and CT had no objection.
