After canceling a Monday meeting to discuss a potential settlement of 12 state attorneys general’s lawsuit against the Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery merger, California AG Rob Bonta tells TheWrap he’s still open to coming to the negotiating table as early as this week. According to a report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office and obtained by Us on Monday, August 24, “combined effects of multiple prescription medications” was listed as “other significant conditions” that led to Clarke’s death. The toxicology results revealed heroin, cocaine, morphine and “multiple prescription medications” were found in the NBA player’s system at the time of his death. The additional medications were listed as oxycodone, metabolite, oxymorphone, O-desmethylvenlafaxine, norchlorcyclizine, alprazolam, mitragynine, pregabalin, meprobamate and carisoprodol, per the report. The medical examiner stated that Clarke’s roommate — who was not named — reported that the Memphis Grizzlies power forward had an alleged history of drug abuse and made multiple rehabilitation attempts.
