Lil Jon is sharing more insight into his son Nathan Smith’s death, including the pair’s final conversations, in his memoir I Only Shout So You Can Hear Me. In the book, the “Get Low” artist reflects on supporting Smith—who performed as DJ Young Slade—as he dealt with what Lil Jon described as “intense,” unexplained physical pain, stress, trauma and anxiety. After Smith told his dad he was working through a lot and trying to communicate better, Lil Jon placed one final call to remind his son, “I see that you’re trying, and I want you to know that you are seen.” Smith died at age 27 in February, with the memoir arriving eight months later. Lil Jon shared Nathan with ex-wife Nicole Smith and is also dad to 23-month-old daughter Nahara with girlfriend Jamila Sozahdah. Sydney Sweeney left little to the imagination in her most recent holiday-themed campaign for her lingerie and loungewear brand SYRN.
About a week ago, it seemed pretty clear that Warner Bros./DC’s “Clayface” would be the No. 1 film on this coming pre-Halloween weekend. With “Other Mommy” getting poor reception and “Resident Evil” out of the top 5, it stands to be the seasonal horror film of choice and provide some greatly needed theatrical success for Warner Bros. But A24’s “You Can See Everything” has turned those expectations on their head as it earned the biggest opening for a documentary in 22 years. After a $2.6 million Tuesday, the Nathan Fielder/Lance Oppenheim film has $20.8 million and will become the first documentary since 2018 to pass $30 million by the end of a second weekend, during which it will expand from 855 locations to approximately 2,600 nationwide. Currently, “Clayface” is projected for a $25-30 million opening weekend, which would be a solid start for this $40 million-budgeted body horror film. But “You Can See Everything” is expected to blow past its $15.8 million opening with a second weekend of at least $18 million, and there’s no telling how far the watercooler buzz of the acclaimed Elizabeth Holmes chronicle will go. Seriously, no telling. The closest comp to the rapid rise of…

He is living with my mom,” she shared. “I know a lot of you guys are like, ‘Oh, my God, it’s because he doesn’t want to be with you’ or ‘Oh, because no one wants him to be there.’ Well, Jace is used to growing up kind of like a single child because, you know, [he was] living with my mom. And then coming to my house every weekend.” The former Teen Mom 2 star continued, “When I got custody and the dynamic of him coming into a household with two other siblings, things just didn’t — and…

Hey Creatorverse readers, In case Hollywood didn’t have enough to worry about, creators are now entering their executive producer era. At least that’s the evolution Colin Rosenblum and Samir Chaudry are eyeing with their Big Idea Fund, a partnership with Adobe that involved Rosenblum and Chaudry awarding $25,000 to a creator to make their dream project. Helping a promising creator achieve their dreams isn’t something that’s new for Rosenblum and Chaudry. It’s the next step after the duo’s 48-hour creator competition Weekend Film Fest as well as a way to experiment with producing. Documentary creators Jackson and David Hughens were the ultimate winners of the Big Idea Fund for their plan to make a five-part documentary series about the Pinkertons, a family who have adopted five children with Down Syndrome. The series is inspired by the filmmaker’s friend Jay Carr, and the pilot for “A Home Full of Love” from the Hughens received over 1 million views on YouTube. The views don’t lie. Though it’s only 17 minutes long, the Hughens’ gentle filmmaking would feel at home on HBO or as a higher caliber Netflix doc. “It was very fun and rewarding. The discovery of talent is one of my favorite things that we’ve…

Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jordan Elliott was released on Tuesday, October 20, after he grabbed his gun during an argument with a teammate at the team’s facility last week. After a verbal dispute with offensive lineman JC Latham on Thursday, October 15, Elliott, 28, went to get a gun from his car parked in the players’ lot, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. The gun ultimately never left Elliott’s parking spot. Titans head coach Robert Saleh confirmed the incident during a press conference on Wednesday, October 21, explaining that defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers was responsible for calming tensions. “[Elliott] had a terrible lapse in judgment that I recognize as a call for help more than a criminal act,” Saleh, 47, told reporters. “It’s unfortunate the way it went down. As far as Jordan’s concerned and the locker room and all that, I think people see it differently here than the knee-jerk reaction of the world.” Former Chiefs Player Allen Bailey Dead at 37 After Being Found Inside Home Saleh credited the Titans and the NFL for their response to the incident, arguing both “did an outstanding job with regards to pausing, which I think everyone needs to do in this…
Hudson McLeroy’s public apology to ex-girlfriend Ariana Biermann isn’t impressing her very much. “Ariana, I’m sorry I couldn’t see how much you were hurting because I was so caught up in how happy you made me,” Hudson, 25, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, October 21, when celebrating his birthday. “I let what I felt drown out what you were trying to tell me.” The Next Gen NYC star also seemingly referenced the ongoing drama surrounding some of Ariana’s family. Ariana’s mom, Kim Zolciak, continues to face a public divorce from Kroy Biermann, while Ariana’s younger brother Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr. was arrested in August on sexual assault charges. He has denied the accusations and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
