Michael Strahan is giving an update on his daughter Isabella’s battle with brain cancer. The 19-year-old started chemotherapy this month. This week, the 52-year-old television personality shared some videos Isabella captured during her treatment on “Good Morning America.” After her first round of chemo, she was able to come home and detailed how the treatment made her feel. “My eyes are strained. They hurt to look to the sides. My whole mouth feels like I got one giant root canal of my whole mouth,” she said. Since returning home, Michael told co-hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos that she experienced a minor setback. “She had a fever that kind of comes and goes,” he said. “I had to take her to the hospital and thought she’d come home a few hours later…It’s been three days, but hopefully, she’ll be home today,” he added. As for how Michael’s experience has been seeing his daughter go through this, he admitted it’s been “tough” but he knows she’s a tough young lady and will “make it through.”
