Megan Thee Stallion breaks her silence after experiencing a medical emergency during Tuesday night’s performance of ‘Moulin Rouge,’ just days in to the rapper’s eight-week stint as club owner Zidler in the Broadway adaptation of the 2001 film. She was rushed to the hospital after nearly fainting on stage. Meg’s rep tells ET, ‘Doctors ultimately identified extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction and low metabolic levels as the cause of her symptoms. Megan has since been treated, discharged and is now resting.’ Meg calls the incident a ‘wake-up call’ and admits ‘pushing myself past my limits.’ She promises to return to the stage on Thursday.
