Joshua Jackson appeared on the Today show March 10 and shared a few words in honor of Dawson’s Creek costar James Van Der Beek, who died following a battle with colorectal cancer. The ‘Doctor Odyssey’ star said he is still processing the loss, “For me as a father now, I think the enormity of the tragedy for his family hits in a very different way than just as a colleague, so I think the process is just ongoing.” James’ family—including wife Kimberly Van Der Beek and kids Olivia, 15, Joshua, 13, Annabel, 12, Emilia, 9 and Gwendolyn, 6—previously confirmed he had died Feb. 11 following his nearly three-year battle with colorectal cancer.
