Jeannie Mai is opening up following her divorce from Jeezy. On Oct. 12, the TV personality, 44, did her first interview since news broke that she and the rapper were ending their marriage of 2 years. She opened up to Sherri Shepherd about how she’s doing amid their split. “It takes every day to just sit and be quiet in my thoughts, take care of me. But one thing I know is you give God your pain, He will give you His power,” she said. “The Real” alum then shared that her daughter Monaco is what’s making her strong through this tough time. “Monaco! That is my North Star. And I can definitely tell you that, I don’t know if I would handle this the same way without her…So I’m so thankful to be a mom and I’m thankful to have her,” she gushed. Jeannie’s interview came just one day after she returned to Instagram for the first time since the divorce news broke. She posted a photo of words in a journal that read: “Sometimes, you need to take a break and disconnect, to heal,” with a heart.
