Director David Leitch is no longer headed to ‘Jurassic World.’ The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed talks between Universal and the filmmaker have fallen through. News that Leitch would direct a new ‘Jurassic’ movie came to light late last week, when Universal signaled the film was on the fast track by giving it a July 2nd, 2025 release date. The parting of ways is said to be due to a difference in vision and to be amicable.
