Conan O’Brien is speaking out about an unfathomable tragedy. The comedian offered his heartfelt thoughts on Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner, who were found dead in their Los Angeles home the day after attending his Christmas party Dec. 13. "To have that experience of saying good night to somebody and having them leave and then find out the next day that they’re gone," Conan told The New Yorker in an article published Feb. 20, "I think I was in shock for quite a while afterward. I mean, there’s no other word for it. It’s just very—it’s so awful. It’s just so awful." On the evening of Dec. 14, the couple’s son Nick was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder of Rob and Michele and has since been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
