Christy Carlson Romano shared that she received a “positive” result on a cancer screening test and will undergo future testing to determine whether or not cancer is present in her body. The ‘Kim Possible’ star also revealed she knew the late James Van der Beek, who died from a years long battle with cancer Feb. 11 at the age of 48. “I may have stageable cancer,” Carlson Romano said on Instagram Feb. 17. “I live in Austin and I was able to meet James Van Der Beek, a bunch. His family is amazing. He’s a pillar of our community, in Texas. They were always raising money for the most amazing charities and he’s not with us anymore and cancer is everywhere.
