Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman are finally teaming up in their psychological drama “May December.” The film is inspired by the infamous real-life story of teacher Mary Kay Letourneau, who at age 36-year-old had an affair with a 7th grader. This is the first time Natalie and Julianne have worked together and they couldn’t help but gush over one another when they spoke with Access Hollywood. “To get to play opposite Natalie in this was really just phenomenal,” Julianne told Access. “[Julianne] is an actress I’ve loved and admired and who’s inspired me for so long,” Natalie added. Stepping into the character of Julianne’s on-screen husband, Joe, is “Riverdale” star Charles Melton, who had nothing but appreciation for working with two powerhouse actresses. “I mean having two masters at their craft, two icons, just kind of supporting you, so much gratitude,” Charles said. “May December” is in theaters now and on Netflix Dec. 1.
