A firefighter in Poughkeepsie, New York, fatally shot his wife at their home and tried to cover up the crime before he died by suicide, according to authorities. The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office said that James “Jimmy” Brugger and Melinda “Mindy” Brugger were found dead at their home just before midnight on Friday, August 21, according to Lohud.
