Anne Hathaway recreates a memorable ‘The Princess Diaries’ line in a new TikTok with ‘The End of Oak Street’ co-star Ewan McGregor for ‘VT.’ The actress, who starred as Princess Mia in the 2001 Disney film, also gives a spot-on impression of on-screen grandmother Julie Andrews. It comes as Anne works to help develop ‘The Princess Diaries 3,’ of which Julie, sadly, confirms she won’t be a part. The 90-year-old icon tells ‘InStyle,’ she’s ‘retired’ from on-screen roles. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched someone’s parents die. In a film, of course. Movie history is built on the tragic deaths of taciturn patriarchs, loving matriarchs and fascist cyborg space dads who recant on their death beds after throwing their immediate supervisors down a well.
