The A-list crowd was also brought to its feet over Barbra’s powerful speech, with Anne Hathaway appearing visibly emotional as the icon reflected on her most cherished memories as a trailblazer on and off the screen. It’s no surprise to see Barbra bestowed with such a prestigious honor! The actress, singer and director won her first Oscar back in 1969 for “Funny Girl” and went on to become one of a select few performers to earn EGOT status.
