New information has come to light about Chef Anne Burrell’s death. Months after the renowned chef’s Jun. 17 death was ruled a suicide, the New York Police Department confirmed to People that an investigator uncovered a “suicidal note” in the primary bedroom of Burrell’s Brooklyn, New York home. In the room, authorities also recovered, according to a police report viewed by the outlet, “suicidal” journal entries. The ‘Worst Cooks in America’ host—who married husband Stuart Claxton in 2021—was found on the bathroom floor “with a bunch of over the counter pills on the floor,” by the unnamed person, the report continued, who attempted to wake her by “shaking her and slapping her face” before calling 911. The heartbreaking details of the Food Network host’s death comes months after the New York City medical examiner’s office ruled her death a suicide in July, specifying that her cause of death was due to "acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine.” Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/news/1428698/anne-burrell-dead-suicidal-note-found
