Alea O’Shea, who starred on the Australian soap ‘Home and Away’ as a young actress, has friends and family rallying around her as she battles brain cancer. She announced her diagnosis in November, which came on her 25th birthday. Resulting surgeries have caused limited mobility on her left side, and radiation treatments have caused hair loss. Alea is using her platform to encourage patients to listen to their bodies and seek medical attention when something doesn’t feel right.
