Hilary Swank’s latest film “Ordinary Angels” holds a special place in her heart. In the drama, she plays Sharon Stevens, a hairdresser who rallies an entire community to help a widowed father save the life of his critically ill daughter. Hilary got the role a few weeks after her father passed away, and at its New York premiere, she told Access Hollywood why she thinks he sent her the project. “My dad passed Oct. 21, 2021, and I got offered this movie like eight weeks later and I have no doubt that my dad sent it to me, to be a part of it,” she said. “It’s such a feel-good movie, I think it’s a movie we all need right now.” Hilary also has two angels at home, her 10-month-old twins Ohm and Aya! While chatting with Access she revealed the sweet meaning behind their names and gave her secret to living her best life as a mom. “Ordinary Angels” hits theaters Feb. 22.
