Cindy Crawford is looking back at an interview she did with Oprah Winfrey nearly 40 years ago. In the new Apple TV+ docuseries “The Super Models,” Cindy got candid about the way she was treated in the 1986 interview, admitting that she doesn’t look fondly at her early career interview. “I was like the chattel or a child, be seen and not heard. When you look at it through today’s eyes, Oprah’s like … ‘Show us why you’re worthy of being here,'” she explained. In the interview, the media mogul tells Cindy, who was 20 at the time, to get up and show the audience and cameras her body. “When you look at it through today’s eyes when Oprah’s like, ‘Stand up and show me your body. Like, show us why you’re worthy of being here. Watching it back I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, that was so not OK really. Especially from Oprah,” Cindy added.
