After ‘The Pitt’ and ‘Widow’s Bay’ won big at the 2026 Emmys, the stars of the medical drama revealed which stars from the comedy horror show they’d like to have make a guest appearance. "I pitched it last night," Patrick Ball exclusively told E! News backstage at the 2026 Emmys Sept. 14 about Widow’s Bay star Dale Dickey. "Her people are thinking it over. They’ll get back to us." Meanwhile, Shawn Hatosy tossed around the idea of inviting Stephen Root to stop by the Pittsburgh hospital. Because as fans of Widow’s Bay saw, the citizens of the cursed New England town could likely use some more medical personnel ahead of season two. "They’ve got a lot of problems," Ball added. "It’s teed up for us." After their win, the cast of Widow’s Bay weighed in backstage on the possibility of a crossover, as Jeff Hiller quipped, “It’d be one hell of a ferry ride! Sure! Why not? I’ve got bronchitis!” However, the dream guest list stretches beyond the stars of the comedy horror show. "I saw Don Cheadle at a party last night," Noah Wyle noted. "Don said he’d come on.
